Deer Ole Dad
My card today is for the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge - to make a masculine card. Masculine cards are a HUGE challenge for me! Most of the stamps I am drawn to are very cutesy or kid friendly... that makes it tough to come up with a manly card! So, this is about as masculine as it gets from me...
Supplies: The Angel Company "Great Outdoors" (image); The Angel Company "Greatest Dad" (sentiment);
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink; Neenah White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS;
Bazzill Mud Pie CS; Recollections PP; Nestabilities Labels 1; Tan Scrappers Floss; Buttons; Copics
Copics Used:
Deer Bodies - E27, E25, E23
Antlers, Ears, etc - E53, E51, E50
Eyes, Noses, Brows - E29
Bushes - YG25, YG03, YG01
Sky - BG0000
The image and sentiment are from old Angel Company sets. I colored the image with my Copics, then cut it out leaving a thin white border, so it would stand out against the brown die cut shape. I didn't want to do too much embellishing, so I just threaded a few buttons onto Tan Scrappers Floss, and then held them down with Mini Glue Dots.
So how did I do?? Is it masculine enough??
