It's time for our monthly inspiration post on the Your Next Stamp Blog, and this time we are featuring the adorable and quirky collection of stamps by Franfou Designs. When I looked through the store trying to decide which image to use, I didn't realize how many of these I don't have! Sheesh! Time to add a few things onto the ol' wish list!
One image I do have is this super cute Snorkel Fun Penguin. My little guy loves penguins, so I tend to snatch up any I see! This little guy is really fun and easy to color, and I paired him up with a sentiment from the Monkey See, Monkey Do set.

It's time for some more Fun Friday inspiration over on the YNS Challenge Blog!
Here are the sketch and image we are working with for our inspiration this month...
I love this fabulous sketch... such a fun clean layout to really show off a colored image! This week I colored up Ellie Loves Lattes, fussy cut her out and popped her up in place of the square on the sketch. I also tweaked the placement of the sentiment just a tad... this one is from the Thanks a Latte clear set. Do you like how I colored the pattern on Ellie's skirt to match the patterned paper?? :)
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, My Mind's Eye Dolled Up 6x6, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
YNS Ellie Loves Lattes (image), YNS Thanks a Latte (sentiment), Paper Piercer, White Thread, Pop Dots, Copics

It's never too soon to start thinking about Christmas, right? :)
Over on the AJVD Blog they are celebrating Christmas in July, so I made some fun little gift tags for my kiddos!
These sweet penguins are from the new Brrr stamp set by Whimsie Doodles, and it includes lots of little accessories to dress them up with!
I kept them pretty simple, but thought it would be fun to make the penguins removable from the tags...
... so I created a little pocket to tuck the penguins inside! I spelled out my kids names with glittery alphabet stickers on the pockets.
They love to get crafty and make their own little cards and pictures with stamped images. Now they will each have a little penguin to dress up for a fun art project!
Here is a look at this adorable new set...
There are more new stamp sets by Whimsie Doodles for A Jillian Vance Design... if you are a fan of Melyssa's cute critter images you should go have a look!
I am typically a major procrastinator, and don't make anything until the absolute last minute! So, it feels pretty good to have these done! :)
How about you... how soon do you start your holiday crafting??
