Your Next Stamp Fun Friday - Spring Fling!
It's time for more Fun Friday inspiration at Your Next Stamp! This month, our theme is SPRING FLING!
Has spring reached your neck of the woods yet? We've had beautiful spring weather here for a few weeks, but I know some parts are still covered in snow! Crazy!! Some of you might be in serious need of some spring cheer, so sit back and enjoy!
I created a simple little Spring scene on my card today. I started by making a cloudy background using a cloud die, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and a sponge. Then I cut a couple layers of grass with my Fiskars Grass Border Punch. The fence is cut from the Your Next Stamp Fence Die, and trimmed to fit the width of my card. The flowers were white, but I dripped a little bit of Copic R30 Refill Ink onto each one to dye them pink, and stuck a pearl to each center. Lastly, I added this cute critter from the Smiley Happy Critter Crew #3. I wanted him to be white, so I just did a little coloring, and added some white flock to his tail. He's fussy cut, and simply tucked between the layers of grass and held on with some dimensional glue dots, so he pops up just a tad.

Blue Skies Ahead
There She Goes is having a color challenge this week - to use blue, yellow, and neutral. It's one of my favorite combos, so I had to make time to play along! I automatically thought of the Under the Weather set for these colors, and when I saw the current Freshly Made Sketch, I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I picked out the perfect piece of patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Moments 6x6 pad, and used it to paper-piece her rain coat. The rest of her was colored with Copics to match. After coloring her, I masked her so I could sponge the blue sky around her... I should have done it before paper-piecing the coat, because I couldn't get my mask to line up quite right. Oh well... I guess it's close enough!

Mrs. Monkey
Today is review day at All That Scraps, and we are taking another look at the newest additions to the C.C. Designs stamp line. If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you know I have a major weakness for monkeys, and the C.C. Designs monkeys are some of the cutest out there! This is Mrs. Monkey...
She is colored with Copics, and paired with some pretty paper from the My Mind's Eye This and That Graceful 6x6 pad. I inked all of the edges with Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink, and added some very wide zig-zag stitches. The sentiment is from the new For My Gal Clear Stamps. The layout is from the SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenge #429.

Tuesday Morning Sketch #193
It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch, and one of my favorite sponsors is back with us this week... Bugaboo! I have loads of their images, and just don't get around to using them as often as I'd like, so it's always fun for me when they sponsor TMS! :)
Our sketch this week was designed by our lovely and talented Melissa...

... and there is also a TWIST along with the sketch! This time around, we want to see BIRTHDAY CARDS! It's an easy one, right? And who doesn't need more birthday cards in their stash? It is also a judged challenge, so bring your A-game! The Design Team will be voting on our favorite entries to select this week's winner!
How about some inspiration? I used Bugaboo's Birthday Monkey Topper. I cut around his hands and face, so he would appear to be peeking over the edge of the lower panel. I left off the oval shape on the sketch, and instead stamped my sentiment onto a banner die cut, and stitched it to the card. The ends of the banner are curled outward just a tad.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS: Bazzill Maltball CS; MME Handsome Boy 6x6;
Printer; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; The Angel Company "Tag Tidbits" (sentiment);
YNS Fishtail/Banner Die Set; Paper Piercer; Thread; Copics
Copics Used:
Monkey - E37, E35, E33, E31
Face, Ears - E21, E00, E000, YR000
Balloon - BG49, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10
Hat - Y38, Y35, Y32, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, C1
You can see more inspiration with the sketch over at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog.
You have until Sunday, April 14th to link up for a chance to win some Bugaboo digis! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

New C.C. Designs Clear Stamps!
I meant to share these cards LAST Sunday, but somehow, this never published! And with the Easter holiday, and the kiddos being on spring break, I didn't even notice until today that they never got posted! Oops! Better late than never I guess...
If you didn't see the exiting news, you can check it out here... Christine at C.C. Designs is now manufacturing her own line of clear photopolymer stamps!! There were three sets released this month (AmyR Wedding Sentiments II, For My Guy, and For My Gal), and more to come in the future!
I made a couple of clean and simple cards with the For My Guy clear stamp set... I had so much fun with these images, and can't wait to use the rest of the set!
The first card features the tie stamp and sentiment from the set, as well as the new C.C. Cutters Guys Dies. I cut the tie shape with the die cut first, and then stamped the tie outline after cutting... this was SOOO easy to line up with the clear stamps! The sentiment was stamped first with black ink, then I used Versamark ink to highlight the word "tie-riffic"... I inked up just that word on the stamp, and offset it from the first one stamped in black. Again... SOOO easy to do with clear stamps!
Supplies: Hammermilll White CS; Neenah Desert Sorm CS; Bazzill Maltball CS; MME Handsome Boy 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Versamark Ink; Copics (W5, W3, W1, W0)
The second card features the adorable little fish from the set, and coordinating sentiment. I used my Circle Nestabilities, and Fiskars Scallop Edge Scissors to make the fish bowl. The edges of the "water" are inked with Broken China Distress Ink. I have no idea where those little blue beads came from, but found them in my stash and thought they would make cute bubbles! The sentiment was stamped on the smallest banner from the C.C. Cutters Banner Tags Die.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Doodlebug Hello Spring 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Broken China Distress Ink; Beads; Ribbon; Pop Dots;
Circle Nesties; Fiskars Scallop Scissors; Copics (Y38, Y35, Y32, Y21)
That's all I have today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
