It's time for a new sketch at the Sketch Saturday Blog!
This great sketch was designed by Lesley, and she has also lined up a fabulous sponsor for this week...
I've used a new Pollycraft stamp from C.C. Designs for my card today... her name is Sugar, and she is a perfect match to the new Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe paper. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things, and is stamped onto a Ticket Die, cut in half.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe 6x6 pad, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Hemp Cord, Button, C.C. Cutters Ticket Die, MFT Pure Innocence Birthday Girl Sentiment, Copics
Be sure to head over to the Sketch Saturday Blog to see the line up from the rest of the design team!
Thanks for stopping by!
Today we are having a BIG celebration!
C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps is turning 7!! Seven years ago today, the very first stamps were released... they were Christine's big bunnies, Whiskers. She sure has come a long way!
In the last seven years, C.C. Designs has been graced by the talents of many illustrators, including AmyR, Sweet November, Chubby Pencil, Diem Animals, Love Lolita, Cookie Crumbs, Baby Buds, Drozy's Darlings, Tickled Pink, Paper Pleasing, Pollycraft, Stampin' Spot Studio, Webbie's Words, Cuddle Crew, Mashi's Muffins, Monkey Feet, Shaky A, and Roberto's Rascals.
In celebration of 7 years, EACH of the blogs along the hop are giving away a $7 Gift Certificate to the C.C. Designs Store! You must leave a comment on each blog to be entered, so let's get started!
If you have arrived here from the C.C. Deisgns Blog, then you are right on track. If not, head over there now, because that is where the hop begins!
I used a couple of newly released goodies on my card today... Fluffy Bear Balloon and AmyR Great Birthday Greetings. I also used this week's MFT Sketch once again... I'm just a little obsessed with this simple layout! :)
I colored Fluffy up with Copics, and paired her with some paper from the Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe 6x6 pad. The sentiment is stamped onto a cut from the C.C. Cutters Banner Tags Die. I thought about sponging some clouds in behind her, but I kinda like the simplicity of the image against the white for this one.
What do you think?

Feels like it's been awhile!! Sorry it's been so quite here... I've felt a little under the weather this past week, so I ended up taking a few days to rest.
I'm back today to let you know that a new challenge is up at the 2 Cute Ink Challenge Blog! It's an easy one this time...
I had the pleasure of coloring up Sweet Froggie for my card today. The image has a little bumble bee with the frog, but I ended up cropping it off to fit Froggie in the circle. He is colored with Copics, and a little scene of water and grass was drawn in around him. Still trying to put a dent in my stash of The Angel Company papers, this one is from the Whimsy Blossoms pad. The sentiment is also from an old TAC set called Frogs and Kisses.
