Hugs and Fishes
Happy Saturday! I was able to get some crafting time in today, and whipped up a cute clean and simple card. I don't do one layer cards very well, but I've had this idea for a while, and wanted to give it a try. I'm pretty happy with how it came out! I used post-it notes to mask a border around the card base, then sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto the opening. The fishies are from the Splash set from Clearly Digi Stamps. They are colored with copics, cut out, and popped up in front of the blue background. Easy peasy! What do you thnk?
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Tumbled Glass Distress Ink; Sponge; Pop Dots; Glitter; Copics
Copics Used:
Fish - YR04, Y38, Y35, Y32
Heart - RV14, RV13, RV23, RV21
That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday
It's time for another YNS Fun Friday, and this month's theme is VACATIONS!
If my family and I were to go on a vacation today, we would head to my parent's house in Colorado. They live in a cute little tourist town in the mountains, and right now, it is covered in snow. My kids have asked if they could go ice-skating next time we visit the snow... of course someone else will have to teach them, because the one time I tried, I spent the entire day on my rear! So, for my vacation themed card, I used Joy, who looks much happier ice-skating than I was! She is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up with foam adhesive. The layout is based on the current Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Scraps; YNS "Joy" (image); YNS "Holiday Joy Robin" (sentiment);
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Paper Piercer; Quilting Thread; Ribbon; Snowflake Button;
Sew Easy Floss (aqua); Foam Adhesive; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E11, E01, E00, E000, YR0000, R00
Hair - E18, E17, E15, E13
Clothes - BG49, BG15, BG13, BG11 (blue) YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01 (green)
Skates - C7, C5, C3, C1, C0, C00
Check out the Your Next Stamp Blog today for lots of vacation themed inspiration from the Design Team!

Tuesday Morning Sketch #186
**FOR THE CLEARLY DIGI STAMPS BLOG HOP, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN**
Happy Tuesday sketch fans! Here is the latest Tuesday Morning Sketch for you, designed by Melissa...

This week's sketch was going to be sponsored by Daydream Designs, unfortunately the store recently announced it's closing. Instead, our very own Debbie is offering up some goodies to this week's winner, along with a digital stamp set being offered by Imagine That! Digi Stamps. The set being offered is called Love Lifts You, and is actually the set I used for my sample.
I was a little loose with my interpretation of the sketch this week... my mojo seems to be on vacation, and I just couldn't get the scallops to work for me. So, I kept it super clean and simple this week. No Copics once again... I used another pre-colored digi on this one.
Supplies: Love Lifts You Digi Image and Digi Paper; Neenah Desert Storm CS: Wausau Black CS;
Hammermill White CS; Ribbon; Pop Dots
Be sure to check out the line up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog, and leave the team some love!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Clearly Digi Stamps Blog Hop
IT'S BLOG HOP TIME!!!!
The third Sunday of every month is the Clearly Digi Stamps Blog Hop, and this month's theme is BIRTHDAYS! The Design Team will be bringing you lots of birthday inspiration with Clearly Digi Stamps! And you can't have a blog hop without PRIZES, right?! Be sure to leave comments at every stop, because EACH team member will be giving away the digi set they are featuring for the hop! That's right... there will be one winner chosen from EACH BLOG!!
The set that I will be giving away is the new Monster Mash set!
Such a fun set!! I think cute images for boys are hard to come by, but this set has it covered! And check out those digi papers! Yup... those are included!
Here is my Clean and Simple card using the current sketch from Seize the Birthday (this week they are asking for masculine birthday cards using the sketch). I did something I hardly ever do... used a pre-colored image! I still used my Copics to ground the little guy, but sometimes it's nice to have the option of putting a card together quickly with a pre-colored digi.
Supplies: Hammermill Whie CS; Wausau Black CS; Bazzill Brick CS; Monster Mash Digi Paper;
Palette Noir Ink (to ink edges); Circle Nestabilities; Copics (T2, T1, T0)
Remember to leave me a comment for your chance to win the Monster Mash set!
Please include your email address with your comment, so that I can notify the winner. You have until Wednesday, February 20th at 5pm EST to comment. Winners will be announced and contacted on Thursday, February 21st.
And here are the talented ladies you'll be hopping with today:
If you get lost along the way, you can start back at the Clearly iStamp Blog.
Enjoy the hop, and thanks so much for stopping by!
An Announcement and A New Release!
I am so excited to annouce that I am now a member of the Clearly Digi Stamps Design Team (formerly Clear Dollar Stamps)!

I could not believe it when last month I got an email from Jerusha inviting me to join the CDS Design Team! I actually thought she had made a mistake, and contacted the wrong person! Lucky for me, she didn't! And now I get to play with these super cute digis and show them off to you! YAY! :)
And even better, today is NEW RELEASE DAY! So not only I am sharing my big news, I also have some new digi's to share too!
(Just a warning... this is a LONG, picture heavy post!)
First up is a fabulous birthday set designed by the amazingly talented Lisa Lara... here is Eat More Cake!
As soon as I saw those candles, I had this idea! My twin girls have their 6th birthday in March, and this will be one of their cards! The polka dot pattern is a digital paper from the Rainbow Notes set, printed onto white cardstock. I colored the flames with Copics, then smothered them in glitter! A pretty simple card, but it turned out exactly like I had imagined! Love when that happens!
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Copics (Y38, Y35, Y32, T3, T2, T1, T0);
Zig Glue Pen; Recollections Extra Fine Glitter; Pop Dots
Next up is another set designed by Lisa Lara, called Some Bunny... perfect for those upcoming Easter projects!
I made a cute little Easter treat using the set... it is a Sour Cream Container I made following directions I found on Splitcoaststampers. I used a larger piece of cardstock for mine though (8 1/2" x 4 1/4"), and adhered the edges on the long side rather than the short side, so it would resemble a carrot! The gingham pattern is a digital paper included in the set, printed onto white cardstock.
Supplies:Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Doodlebug Springtime 6x6; Ribbon;
Denim; Fiskars Scallop Scissors; Pop Dots; Paper Crimper; Copics
Copics Used:
Overalls - B99, B97, B95, B93
Carrots - YR18, YR15, YR12, YR00
Carrot Tops - YG17, YG13, YG03, YG01
Ears, Nose - R32, R20, R30, R00
Here is a close up of the tag attached to the treat... I cut it from the CC Cutters Stamp Label Die, but pre-scored the cardstock before cutting to create a little flap at the bottom of the tag. The flap was decorated with a strip of patterned paper from the Doodlebug Springtime 6x6 pad that I printed the joke onto, and the top edge is trimmed with scallop scissors. I colored the bunny with Copics, and textured his overalls using a scrap of denim soaked in some Copic Blender Solution. Then fussy cut him out, and popped him up in front of the "grass".
And one more close-up... the flap untucks from under the feet to reveal the hidden punchline!
And that is ALL! If you made it this far, thanks for sticking with me! :)
To see the rest of the new release, along with some amazing and inspiring projects from the Design Team, head over to the Clearly iStamp Blog. And to do some shopping for these cute new digi's, you can head over to the Clearly Digi Stamps Store. They are now in stock!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
