Lil' Inker September Release Blog Hop - Day 5

Today is the final day of the Lil' Inker New Release Blog Hop, and what an AWESOME week it's been! I hope you've been enjoying it as much as I have! If you have arrived here from Jen Carter's Blog, then you are in the right place. If not, you'll want to start over at the Lil' Inker Designs Blog. Remember, there are hidden prizes on the hop, so be sure to comment at every blog along the way to increase your chances of winning!

My last card for the hop features another new Sugar Kissed Cottage set called Carving Pumpkins. I've colored the image with my Copics (of course!) but I have to admit, I have a REALLY tough time with oranges. I've heard a lot of people say they struggle with blending the reds, but for me, it's the oranges! I don't like the lighter YR's, as they seem a little pink to me, so I feel like I never have enough variation in my shading... maybe I just need more colors! ;) So this time, I tried something different and added a little yellow to the orange for the pumpkins. What do you think??

PERFECT pumpkins! Since they start out green (when growing I mean) the tinge of yellow worked out great. I like the vertical .arrangement of the image and sentiment on your card

Laura, these two vintage cards that you've made are so very cute...i wanted to tell you to enter them into the Card Crafter's Circle challenge (vintage) but it started on Friday...and yours would be a back link..if you have anymore going live this week you should consider entering the challenge..they are so adorable!
