Tuesday Morning Sketch #170

We have another great sketch this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches, this time designed by Theresa!

And along with this awesome sketch, we have a fabulous sponsor, and another one of my personal favorites... Meljen's Designs! I love her whimsical images, and don't get to play with them often enough! For my card, I used this Ghost Cutie. It reminds me of those Lolli-pop Ghosts... you know, the Tootsie Pops covered in a tissue, tied on with ribbon. Have you ever made those? They make for a super cute and very quick Halloween treat!
Anyway, onto the card... I found some fun digital paper on Etsy called Halloween Night from Prettiful Designs. The purple background behind the image was done with a combination of coloring with Copics,  and sponging on some Versamagic Purple Hydrangea Ink. The sentiment is from the Lil' Inker Designs Carving Pumpkins set.

I know those Tootsie Roll Pop ghosts very well, LOL! You did a super job coloring this image, and the roundness of the ghost's head coordinates really well with the polka dotted paper. And as far as I'm concerned, the stitched ribbon definitely does count for the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge. Thanks for playing along in it this week!

I LOVE this card! It's so cute, and it really does look like one of those lollipop ghosts. :) Great choice of dp, and your coloring is awesome...especially the light purple around the ghost--it's beautiful!
