Reindeer Food

Reindeer Food is a fun Christmas Eve tradition! My kiddos love to sprinkle it out on the lawn as a treat for Santa's reindeer! Here is the version I made this year...

Reindeer Food 2
(Supplies: Whimsie Doodles "Tis the Season"; Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities;
Red Stickles; Sew Easy Floss; Kraft CS; Scarlet CS; Bottle; Oats; Glitter; Copics)

I found these little bottles at my local craft store in the beading section, and I immediately had this idea! I used the reindeer image from Whimsie Doodles 'Tis the Season set, and typed "Reindeer Food" underneath it. On the back of the tag I typed the reindeer food poem:

Sprinkle on the ground at night,
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home.

The tag was cut with nesties, and attached with a bit of floss. The reindeer "food" is just a mixture of oats, and red and green glitter. Such an easy project, and so fun for little ones!

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to know what you think!
