Sending Happy Thoughts!
Happy Friday!
It's been a crazy bust week, but I finally managed to squeeze in a little crafty time.
Here is a clean and simple card I made using some Paperie Ink stamps...
I paper-pieced the little umbrella from the Somebirdie set, and pieced together the sentiment with two separate stamps from Gone Fishing. I am having so much fun mixing and matching all the parts of these sets!
The stitched borders are from my YNS Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die and Stitching Marks Circles Die Set.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Doodlebug Springtime 6x6 pad, Versafine Onyx Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
YNS Tiny Stitches Die, YNS Circles Dies, YNS Stitching Marks Die - Circles, Pop Dots, Copics (T2, T1, T0)
Pretty simple, but it's perfect to cheer someone up!
Hope you have a great Friday!

My Lucky Charm!
It's New Release Day at Whimsie Doodles!!
The Doodlelicious Divas have created a lovely line-up of projects to share with you... you can see them all on the Whimsie Doodles Blog.
I've colored up the sweet new Lucky Abby for my card today. She is perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but I'm thinking coloring the shamrocks to look like flowers would make her work for any occasion!
She is colored with Copics, and paired with some scraps from my Doodlebug paper pads. I added the little white dots to her dress to cover-up my mistake! As I was finishing up coloring, a blob of my darkest pink marker dripped right on the middle of her dress! I tried to get rid of it with my blender, but it wasn't going anywhere! So, instead of starting over, I hid my mistake!

Hey Foxy!
I've been playing with my Paperie Ink stamps again! I am having SO MUCH FUN with these cute stamps, and all of the sets complement each other so well!
Today, I used the adorable little fox from Baby on Board, and combined it with a (partial) sentiment from Baby Bunting.
So cute, right!? I paper pieced him, and then did some shading with my Copics. I colored his eyes and nose with a Copic Multiliner so they would stand out better, and added the whites to his eyes with a couple dots of white nail polish! Then I stamped just the "hey" from the "hey girl" sentiment, and popped him up next to it.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, Bazzill Peanut Fudge CS, Doodlebug Friendly Forest 6x6,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, Lawn Fawn Journaling Card Die, YNS Fishtal/Banner Dies One,
Corner Chomper, May Arts Natural Burlap String, Button, Pop Dots, Copics (T2, T1, T0 and R30, R000, R0000)
It's a pretty simple card... I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Die for the main focal panel, then I rounded the corners of the base card to match, and inked the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
Easy peasy!
That's all for now!

Dino-Mite!
It's the second and final week of inspiration for Challenge #8 at Your Next Stamp.
Here is the awesome sketch we have for you...

... and the fun color combo, which is where I found my inspiration this week!

Such a bright, playful combo, and I thought it was perfect for coloring up one of the dinos from Dino-mite!
I paired him with papers from a couple of different Doodlebug pads, and colored him with Copics to match. The circle is cut from the Circles Die Set, and then I added the stitched border with the Stitching Marks Die Set - Circles. The sentiment is stamped directly onto the circle, but the dino is cut out and popped up. The banner behind the circle was made using Fishtail/Banner Die Set One... I just put it through my Cuttlebug twice, rotating the paper in the die, so that it would cut both ends.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Wausau Black CS, Doodlebug Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 (blue),
Doodlebug Friendly Forest 6x6 (orange), Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, YNS Circles Dies,
YNS Fishtail/Banner Die Set One, YNS Stitching Marks Die - Circles, Pop Dots, Copics
Copics:
Blue - B26, B23, B21
Orange - YR04, Y38, Y35, Y32
It's your last week to join in this challenge for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!
I hope you'll play along!
