Kinder-Grad Girls
It's official... my babies are Kindergarten Graduates! I can't believe how quickly the year flew by, but I am looking forward to enjoying summer vacation with them before they are big First Graders!
We had a little party at home with cupcakes, and of course, I had to make them some cards to celebrate the occasion! I started out with a different layout in mind for each of them, but after finishing the first card, I liked it so much, I decided to make the cards the same! The only difference between the two was the hair color... Abi's hair is lighter, Oli's is darker, so I represented that on their cards. I am only going to show you one card though, since they are basically identical. I found this Whimsie Doodles Grad Girl and Kinder Grad Sentiment (which I couldn't find in the store, so it might be retired?) in my digi stamp files... PERFECT! I had forgotten how much I love coloring these adorable digis!
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Recollections ABC Print; AC Hip-Hip Hooray 6x6;

Cute, isn't she?? The alphabet paper is from a school-themed paper pack from Recollections by Michael's. Her gown, hat, and the "U" are all paper-pieced with a print from the American Crafts Hip-Hip Hooray 6x6 pad. I used my Copics to add a little shading to the paper-piecing. She is fussy cut, and popped up in front of the circle. Simple and sweet!!

Daphne's Ride
It's review day at All That Scraps, and the Design Team has prepared some more inspiration for you using the May Release Sweet November stamps... more Fairwees!! It's tough to narrow down, but I think the Fairwees are some of my favorite stampy characters... they're just so cute!!
For my card, I used the new Fairwee Daphne's Ride stamp. Daphne and her little buggy friend are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with Copics. I used patterned paper from the Doodlebug Flower Box 6x6 pad again.... I can't get enough of this paper! The bright colors are so fun! The sentiment is from the new AmyR Sunny Sentiments set, and stamped with Palette Burnt Umber Ink. I glittered up both of their wings, but I am having the hardest time getting glitter to show in my photos... any tips??

Tuesday Morning Sketch #200
**FOR MY YNS TASTY TUESDAY POST PLEASE CLICK HERE OR SCROLL DOWN**
I took a little break from Tuesday Morning Sketches this month, but I'm joining my teamies again today, with the 200th sketch!! What an awesome milestone! And we will be celebrating another major milestone soon... next month is Tuesday Morning Sketches 4th Birthday! Stay tuned to the TMS Blog for more info!
This week's sponsor is Imagine That Digi Stamps, and our sketch was designed by our talented Melissa...

I used a DigiStamp Boutique image that was released in April called Bookworm Abi... I could NOT resist this image! Not only is she as cute as can be, but she looks like my daughter, whose name is Abi! This image was meant to be mine! :)
I used some patterned papers from a Recollections stack, and the Lil' Inker Designs Notebook Die and Stamp. The sentiment is also from Lil' Inker, stamped onto a cut from the C.C. Cutters Banner Tags Die.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Recollections Bold Basics Stack;

Fairy Wonderful Tasty Tuesday
It's the final Tasty Tuesday at Your Next Stamp... we have some exciting changes coming to the challenges that I think you are going to LOVE (I sure do!), so be on the lookout for the new challenge format coming in June!
Here is another look at the May Tasty Tuesday inspiration photo...

They are so cute, aren't they?! This time, I used Fairy Fhiona, and took inspiration from the colors in the photo. I'm not real thrilled with my coloring this time, but the overall card turned out pretty sweet. The layout is the Deconstructed Sketch #101, papers are from a Recollections 6x6 pad, and sentiment is from the Mandi Fairy set. I also used the YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies (which you can get at 50% off for a limited time! Check out the link to the store for details!). I hand cut the black border around them, so they would stand out better against that busy floral print. Fhiona's wings are blinged up with some Stardust Stickles.
