I paper-pieced her dress with some very cute, very FREE digital paper from Design House Digital called Just About Me... it's so sweet and girly, I thought it was just right for Piper! I had lots of fun coloring this cutie, so don't be surprised if you see her pop up again soon!

Are you ready for another fabulous Cardabilties Sketch? The wait is over...

  As soon as I saw the Flowers image from this month's release at Whimisie Doodles, I knew it would be perfect for this sketch! It's colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up on Pop Dots next to the sentiment. I also added a little texture to the base with the Cuttlebug Polka Dot embossing folder.

Tomorrow we are celebrating my Grandpa's 87th birthday with a big party and BBQ at the lake... Since he is the biggest kid I know, I thought this Birthday Gus image and sentiment from Bugaboo would be perfect for his birthday card!

 

I used some striped cardstock from the DCWV Citrus Matstack, and colored Gus to coordinate. I also added a little Glossy Accents to his eyeglasses! The image was cut out with Petite Ovals Nestabilities, and popped up with Pop Dots.  I used the first half of the sentiment on the card front, and the rest of the sentiment on the inside reads "Growing UP is optional!"

It's time for another FUN challenge at Whimsie Doodles! This month, we want you to Bump It Up!! Translation... add "bumps" or texture to your project with dry embossing! Fun and easy, right?

 

For my sample, I used the new Hammer Shaped Card. It makes for a cute Father's Day card, don't you think? My embossing was done with a wood grain embossing folder to add texture to the handle. I sponged on some Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink, to make the pattern stand out a little.
