It's Blog Hop time! Paper Wings is a great online community devoted to The Angel Company demonstrators, and every month, they host a blog hop! I am happy to be playing along! This month is all about Hostess Sets!

My projects feature the Level A Hostess Set called Happy Today. (You can earn this set FREE when you host a FUNshop that totals $100 or more!) I chose this set because I think it is super cute, and I have yet to see anything done with it! For this card, I used the sweet girl image from the set. Notice anything missing? The original image has the girl holding a flower in her right hand, but it just wasn't working for me, so I masked it off!

Here is a gift bag and matching tag made with the set. I cut a piece of a brown bag and stamped the flower trio all the way across the strip. I used my Paper Crimper on the piece of black cardstock before attaching it to the bag. The tag was also cut from a piece of brown bag, backed with black cardstock, and tied on with a piece of black and white gingham ribbon.

For this last card, I used the sentiment from Happy Today with images from Happily Grateful. The butterfly is colored with Watercolor Pencils, then I added Crystal Stickles over the wings to make them sparkle. The vine is stamped using Versamark Ink.

What great cards and projects. I love the gift tag and bag as well as the sweet card with the little girl. The embossing is perfect for that image. And, the final card with the sentiment mixed with Happily Grateful - stunning!
