Paper Wings March Blog Hop

It's time for another blog hop sponsored by Paper Wings, the online community devoted to The Angel Company's demonstrators, and home of the only all-Angel Company Gallery. This month's theme is SPRING! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the hop!

I had so much fun with this project! The basket is made from The Angel Company's Premium White Cardstock. It's a nice heavy weight, and I wanted the basket to be sturdy enough to fill with goodies! I used Mia's Cottage patterned cardstock to decorate the basket... so bright and "springy", don't you think? I even made the "Easter grass" for the filler... I just cut  the Key Lime Mia's Cottage Cardstock into 1/8" pieces, then ran it through my Paper Crimper

Here is another view of the basket. I love to make my own packaging for gifts, so I am always looking for new ideas! The instructions for this basket came from a two-part video on stampTV. You can watch the videos here and here

Once the basket was done, I decided to make a coordinating card. I just got the Spring Friends stamp set, so I had to ink it up! And of course, it's perfect for the theme of the hop! I inked all the edges of the Hot Pink Cardstock with Versamark Ink. The sentiment is punched out with the 1" Circle Punch, attached to a tag from the Mia's Cottage set, and popped up on Pop Dots.

Be sure to visit the blogs of these talented ladies, to see what Spring themed projects they have in store!

Hope you enjoyed this stop on the hop!! I would love to know what you think!

That lamb looks like the same family carry the cross in another stamp selection. What a talented lamb! What a go and do art piece.
Keep Looking UP!
