What perfect timing for this adorable image... my little guys birthday is just a couple of weeks away, and he LOVES penguins!! It seems like every time I make a boy birthday card, I reach for the Doodlebug Hip Hip Hooray collection... the colors are so fun! I paired the party penguin with a sentiment from AmyR HB2U Sentiments, and sprinkled some YNS Gumdrops around the card.

It's that time again!

Each month after our big release blog hop, Karen "dares" the Design Team to create something with the new goodies... our theme for this month's dare is

SUNNY DAYS.

    

   

It's very simple, but I had a lot of fun making this card... yellow just makes me happy! :)

I started by cutting a base card using the largest of the Stitched Squares Dies... it measures 4 inches, so it makes a cute little card, but still fits nicely into an A2 sized envelope! The rest of the layers are also cut with the Stitched Squares, and I added a sentiment to the center... the word "hello" is cut out from the Scripty Words Die Set, and the word "sunshine" is stamped from the coordinating Scripty Word Die Sentiments. And if you've already checked out the New Release, you'll recognize that cute little flower from the new Plant Some Kindness Set.

You know how I've been a bit obsessed with making cute notebook covers lately? Well, I've got another one to share today!

I already have a notebook I use for listing books the kiddos and I want to look for at the library, but I figured it might be easier to keep separate lists... one for my books, one for the kids. Plus, it was a good excuse to cover another notebook!! :)

   

For this one, I've used the adorable Miss Adventure - My Bookie, a clear stamp set by Whimsie Doodles for A Jillian Vance Design. I love this sweet girl, and the sentiments in this set are so fun!!

Welcome to the June 2015 New Release Blog Hop at Your Next Stamp!!!

We have LOTS of new goodies to share today... some super cute new stamp sets, and must-have dies that you will be reaching for again and again!!

I am so excited about all of the products I used today... with young kiddos, these stamp sets are going to gets lots of use in my house!

      

First up, I have a sweet new addition to Macy's Little Darlings collection, this is Belle. The original image includes an adorable clock and tea set in the background, but I've cropped it to fit a smaller card. I cut her out with the Circles Dies, and added stitching with the Stitching Marks Circle Dies. My patterned paper is cut using the new Stitched Squares Dies... I actually squealed when I saw these! I love all of my YNS stitched dies, and this is another set I can see myself using all the time!!

        

     

Not only do you get this sweet girl in the set, but you get everything you'll need to create customized party invitations!!

     

     

Up next, I've combined the new Kid's Party Invite with the Party Confetti background to create another cute invitation. I stamped the Party Confetti in three different colors of Memento Ink (Dandelion, Pear Tart, and Bahama Blue), and also stamped the sentiment in Bahama Blue Ink. I colored up one of the Silly Monsters, and created a little balloon bundle for him to hold with the Mini Balloon Trio Die.

      

    

Instead of a tradtional folded card, I created a little pocket card, and the invitation part just slides out...

       

    

Aren't these sets SO FUN?!
